SKYWARN® spotters are trained volunteers who provide reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service (NWS). Beyond radar, spotters provide vital “ground truth” to meteorologists. They act as the eyes and ears in the field protecting life and property.
For spotters in the South Florida area, Yucaroo has developed the SKYWARN® Mobile Reporter App! The app provides spotters with a mobile field guide and the ability to report conditions directly to the NWS from a smartphone.
